Mateo was raised in Fennville, MI. He was a SGT in the Army at the time of death. He served in the Navy from 2000-2009 and in the Army from 2009 till his time of death. He served in Operation Enduring Freedom.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and wrestling with our 3 girls. He loved to go bowling and going to Cabela’s.
