George “Geo” Mackulin IV age 30 of Jefferson Hills, PA died suddenly on Monday, October 12, 2015. He was born February 25, 1985. Geo was a Thomas Jefferson graduate, class of 2004 and a Duquesne University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2013.
In between high school and college he was a Staff Sergeant in the Army, highly decorated in Special Forces, serving all over the world. His military awards include, Green to Gold Scholarship, John D. McGrath Leadership Award, Two Army Commendation Medals, Two Army Achievement Medals and a Good Conduct Medal.
He then served as an ROTC Instructor with the Pittsburgh Battalion. He was a member of the American Legion in Pleasant Hills and the Floreffe Volunteer Fire Department. Geo will be buried with Military Honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1:30 PM.
