Brandon Charles Nolan, 37, of Merriam, KS passed away February 28, 2023 at his home. Brandon was born June 25, 1985 in Kansas City, KS. A veteran who served in the United States Army, Brandon did two tours in Iraq. Brandon was a loving father, son, and brother. He lit up a room and had a smile everyone fell in love with. He was a super sweet soul and very charismatic. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. Brandon was very special, and he is missed dearly.
Brandon had 3 kids: Keira, 17, Lilyan, 11, and Camerin, 9. He was a HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved his time in the military as a NBC (Nuclear, Biological and Chemical) specialist. He did two tours in Iraq and came home with PTSD. He struggled with alcohol and mental health issues and tried to get help from the VA, but they were not helpful in the least. He was born in Kansas City, KS and died in Merriam, KS. He was preceded in death by his mom, Dawn, and survived by his dad, Clayton. He had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Brandon was cremated and his ashes rest with his family members and also in Leavenworth at the military cemetery.
Kansas was home.
