Brendan Badker

In Memory of SrA Brendan Badker USAF

March 8, 1998 – September 2, 2025

Active Duty

Brendan’s true passion was hunting and fishing, spending most all of his free time in the outdoors. His beautiful smile and soft caring compassionate side to family and friends was unmatched. Brendan was there for many people who were going through dark times. Many he helped are still with us today and give thanks for him being there to listen and help. He was selfless, spending his money to help others, often going without new clothes and things he could have used himself. His nephews and nieces called him Funkle “THE FUN UNCLE!” He was so soft, caring and patient, teaching them many things. Brendan excelled in school with high marks; he enjoyed playing baseball, welding, and working with his hands on, repairing everything.

He joined the Air National Guard, swearing in alongside his youngest brother. After boot camp and tech school he was stationed at Kingsley Air Base training support for the 173rd F-15 Eagles. His full-time job was working as a crew chief in the phase hanger working on the jets. He brought a smile and hard work ethic to his shop. His coworkers had nothing but praise and admiration for him. Brendan kept his personal struggles within. He loved hard, but took his life as the darkness closed in and the pain overcame the light on September 2, 2025. He will be missed by all.

He called Oregon home.
