SPC Christofer Gregory Gores US Army
November 3, 1992 – April 19, 2024
Christofer Gregory Gores, was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, who lost his battle with mental illness on April 19, 2024.
Born on November 3, 1992, Christofer was raised in Stockton, CA where he had a rich childhood. An avid swimmer, he won many blue ribbons as a Stonewood Stingray. He worked his way from Cub Scout to Eagle Scout. Civil War reenacting became a passion, and he joined the Union Army. He loved music… he played piano, cello, trumpet, and tuba (marched with Tokay’s band and, at Mom’s request, was working on ukulele)! He was a well-traveled young man who, with Mom and Dad, eagerly visited Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, British Isles, Western Europe, and South Africa.
After high school, Christofer enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the combat zone in Kosovo. He spoke often of the good friends he made while there, many with whom he kept in contact on social media.
After the Army, he finally settled in Arizona, where he met Vanessa and her infant son, Julian. They married and soon added a beautiful daughter, Judith Irene Gores, to their family.
Christofer is survived by his beloved wife (Vanessa), his cherished children (Julian and Judi), his parents (Judith and Greg), his sisters (Kelly, Meredith, Elizabeth), his brother (John), many nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. His untimely departure leaves a void that can never be filled. May he rest in eternal peace.
Christofer lived in Arizona at the time of his passing.
