Christopher Cooper

Christopher was from Magnolia, Texas, and served from 2004 until 2008. He completed basic in South Carolina and was stationed at Ft. Hood and was a specialist. He served a year in Korea and a year in Iraq. Christopher loved the Houston Texans, the Houston Astros and the Rockets. He loved music and his family. He had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room when he walked in. He struggled with PTSD and depression and got to where he couldn’t fight the demons anymore. There were issues with the VA and his payments as well, as bills for his rent, phone and groceries continued to pile up.

From his mom, Laura, “He had a heart of gold… my blue eyed angel.”
