Claude Cooper Davis Jr. (CJ) passed away on September 29, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri. CJ was born in Fountain Valley California on December 18, 1982. He attended Willard High School, Ozarks Technical Community College and graduated from the Drury University Police Academy. While serving in the U.S. Army for 10 plus years, he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant working in Psychological OPS. He is survived by his mother, Donna Davis and his son, Cooper Reign Bosch Davis, Cooper’s mother, Renee Bosch. He is also survived by his grandmother Betty Davis and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Claude was preceded in death by his father, Claude Cooper Davis, Sr., his grandparents Helen and Tom and his cousin and Marine Cpl. Kindall Johnson. Claude enjoyed music, astronomy, nature, tattoos and movies.
Services and full Military honors will be held at The Catalyst Church 3146 S Golden, Springfield MO. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 with visitation at 10 a.m. and church services at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements are being conducted by Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
CJ and Kindall Johnson, one of our 22 Too Many Marine heroes, were cousins and very close.
