CPL Cody S Higgins was born in Olympia on January 11, 1992. He was with the 101st Airborne 187th Infantry Regiment “The Rakkasans” stationed out of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 and after returning home, he suffered from severe PTSD. No one could tell. On September 18, 2013, Cody committed suicide in his home in Clarksville, KY, leaving behind a wife and son.
He enjoyed working on cars, target shooting, helping others, and most of all, spending time with his son.
