September 4, 2004 – March 7, 2024
Active Duty – Japan
Cody “Codyman” passed away at the age of 19. He had a heart of gold and always cared for those being bullied. He had a passion for music and anything that can entertain people and have them laughing. He loved to dance, ride four wheelers, and drive any chance he could as he hadn’t had his license for very long.
He graduated high school in May of 2023 and left for Marine bootcamp in Parris Island, SC the very next day. He served all 4 yrs in high school in JROTC Airforce and loved it. He was a leader for Echo flight at CLC Charleston, SC and won the top flight commander award. He was very proud to also lead the Raiders team and could run a mile in 4 minutes.
He was very proud to join the Marines Corps and wanted to go to Japan, which he got. He served as in artillery maintenance and enjoyed learning about each weapon. His passing was in Okinawa, Japan where I traveled after he was revived long enough for me to be by his side as he gained his wings March 7, 2024.
Cody’s short life will always be meaningful and beautiful. Please continue to help keep his name alive he always wanted to travel. My sweet son is remembered by three sisters, two brothers, his father and I, along with five step siblings and step mother, two nieces, as well as multiple family members and friends. He was blessed with a large family, as well as his dog River.
Thank you for carrying my son’s picture and sharing his life’s journey. “Codyman – till we meet again. Mama loves you and is helping keep your name alive while helping others.” Shared by his mother, Mranda.
