Erick William Escobar Solis, age 27, was called by his Lord on Monday, June 3, 2024. He was born on October 3, 1996, in the city of Sonsonate, El Salvador. He moved to California as a teenager and then joined the Army.

Erick was a family man who cherished his wife, Kennedy Venters, and was a devoted father to his two children: Luca Escobar Venters (4) and Palmer Escobar Venters (2). He is survived by his mother-in-law, Danyiele Creech, and his father-in-law, Scott Creech. He is also survived by his two brothers-in-law, Trace Aber and Bryce Venters, along with his sister-in-law, Sydney Creech.

Erick served his country with honor and dedication as a member of the United States Army. He was a Cavalry Scout. One of Erick’s most treasured times in the military was being in the 82nd Airborne Division along with meeting and serving our country alongside his brothers in arms. He was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC then later at Ft. Carson.

In his free time, Erick followed his passion of being outdoors. He loved hiking, finding new trails, biking, traveling to new places, being up in the mountains, showing off his skills in the kitchen, trying new cafés and food places with his wife and kids, along with taking his children to brand new parks that popped up around town.

He loved being a father and husband, and showed that consistently by being a selfless and patient provider.
