Holden Scott Corzine left the troubles of this world by his own hand on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. He was born December 13, 1986 in Chillicothe, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Wirth; his parents, Jhan and Joan Corzine; a brother, Evan Corzine; grandmother, Catherine Corzine; uncles and aunts, Lisa and George Nuckolls, Jeff and Emily Corzine, Greg and Liz Corzine, and Don Schinkle, his numerous cousins and his beloved dog, Bear. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Dr. William J. Corzine Jr. and maternal grandparents, Don and Martha Schinkle.
Holden graduated from Chillicothe High School in 2005, attended The Ohio State University and then enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country as an infantryman in the famed 10th Mountain Division, including deployment to Afghanistan.
Holden had a warm, kind, giving heart and would do anything for a friend. He loved animals, the Army, and the Columbus Blue Jackets and he had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh.
All this was not enough to convince him to stay with us while he battled his inner demons. For all of you who knew Holden or who are reading this obituary, the family asks that you hold your children tight, talk to them, tell them you love them, encourage them to talk openly about their problems and to get help, if it all seems too much. Also please honor our veterans for their service.
