Jack Ray Black, 85, of Boise, Idaho, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died at home on April 16, 2015.
Jack was born on July 21, 1929 in Agricola, Kansas, and 4 years later he was blessed with a sister Peggy. Jack retired with 40 years of service with the Idaho National Guard. He is survived by his wife Carol Marie Black. In his first marriage to Lydia M. Black, they were blessed with 5 children: Michael, Ronald, Kelly, Christine and Anthony. He married Carol on Mary 10, 1975, who was blessed with 6 more children: Linda, Dean, Lynn, Homer, Patricia, and Tony. Together, they had 19 grandkids and 35 great-grandkids. Jack had a great love for life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and old hot rods. The most important part of his life was his family, his friendship with Pete and Debra Even and his love for his pets. “Dad, we will remember all you have done for us, and we are proud and honored to have you in our lives.”
