James Pajon

In Memory of MSgt James A. Pajon, USAF

August 7, 1965 – October 14, 2006

We all called him Jimmy. He was our big brother – to Kerry, Kristen, Gregory, Michael and Jackie. Father to Tina, Nick, Danielle, Stephen, Shelby, Lily (Sam) and James. He was married to the love of his life, Mandy. His parents were Jaime Pajon and Maryanne Dean-they are in Heaven with him, as well and his loving step-mom, Lynne. He was our hero. He was born in Chicago, making him a lifelong fan of the Chicago Bears and the Cubs. He was a 1983 graduate of Kankakee Valley High School. Go Kougars!! He played baseball and football in high school and was a part of the choir and drama clubs. I remember seeing him in “Hello Dolly”. We wrote letters and sent packages while he was deployed. We visited him while he was stationed in Las Vegas. We all bragged about how proud we were of him, our cool, tough big brother. Now, we all miss him, together. He has grandchildren he never got to meet. We think of him often, listening to music, watching a game or a certain movie. He is gone but will never be forgotten. His heart was broken and nothing could fix it. We all tried. We will never stop loving you, Jimmy. Always…..

Active Duty – Stationed at United States Air Force Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan

Places he called home: Illinois, Indiana, Nevada (stateside) as well as England, Italy and Japan.
