In Memory of PV2 Jesse Bartel US Army
March 28, 1983 – July 1, 2003
Active Duty
“Jesse loved his family and friends with a passion. He loved animals, playing high school football, and working construction during the summer. He loved to be outdoors and exercise with his friends. He was a kind, loving, and generous soul who would have done anything to help others. Jesse loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and was looking forward to inheriting a 1967 HD Generator Shovelhead and several antique and vintage cars and trucks, some ready for the road and others as restoration projects. That was something that he and his dad Frenchie had been doing for years and something that he planned to continue to do. Jesse did not like his middle name and after he left the military, he wanted to change it to “James” and change his last name to that of his step-dad who had been in his life since the age of 9 and he loved dearly.” Shared by his mother, Lisa.
