Joshua Stevens

Staff Sergeant Joshua Stevens was born October 8, 1991 in Dubuque, Iowa. Joshua enlisted in the Air Force on February 14, 2011. He was a member of the 326 Training Squadron (Bulldogs) and graduated from BMT on April 15, 2011 and gained technical certifications while at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. He participated in RAP in Dubuque, Iowa in August of 2011 and was then stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Louisiana as part of the 2D Communications Squadron where he also spent time in Exec Comm. In October of 2012, Joshua was deployed to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and returned to the United States April of 2013.

Joshua developed a family of friends during his time with the Air Force.

Joshua looked forward to the time of year that he could share the sweet taste of Iowa corn with his work family in Shreveport. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and especially betting. He would bet on his games or even the next toss down the aisle or drive down the fairway. He was very competitive and could make anything into a betting game. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed gaming, joking, and even sharing a taste of a morel mushroom.

Most of all he was a devoted dad to his beautiful daughter, Aris, and took great pride in his family. He loved to help those in need. He at one time had great dreams! We love him and miss him forever. Shared by his mother, Carlene.
