In Memory of LCpl Lebraun Hamilton USMC
June 9, 2005 — November 2, 2024
Camp Lejeune, North Carolina
Lance Corporal Lebraun Hamilton, age 19 of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024. He was an active member of Wigwam Full Gospel Church where he played the drums until his deployment. He was an active duty Marine and a 2023 graduate of Caverna Independent High School. He enjoyed gaming and being outside playing basketball and football. He was a talented young man that had a kind and gentle spirit who would help anyone he could.
“Lebraun was such a beautiful soul. He was just so special since the day he was born. He walked early, he talked early, and he was so smart. He was raised to respect his elders and “yes ma’am” and “yes sir” was a must. He had such a positive impact on all those who were ever so fortunate to meet him. He was a very kind, loving, gentle soul that was always so happy. He enjoyed playing his video games, driving, cutting up with his friends, and definitely cutting up with his mom. He loved driving ATVs in his Nanny’s field when he came to visit and always wanted his mom right beside him so he could scare her and laugh at her. He loved to aggravate and make us laugh. He was a very selfless person who was always trying to take care of others and always gave back to his community. He volunteered much of his time as a high school student doing community service for others. His true passion was in the medical field where he wanted to become a nurse. He put his nursing plans on hold to join the USMC where his plans were to finish his years there and join the Air Force to pursue his true passion. He loved animals and, in fact, snuck two guinea pigs on base and in his barracks and named them Rita and Reeses and loved them so much! Lebraun was such a true joy to be around and is missed deeply by so many who knew him. We will forever miss his beautiful smile, his contagious laughter, and his joyful spirit.” Shared by his mother, Brandy.
Lebraun called Kentucky his home, and is laid to rest at Mount Nebo Cemetery in Tompkinsville, KY.
