Matthew Cresanto

Matthew “Bob” Cresanto, 42, died Friday afternoon at his residence.
Bob was born Dec. 25, 1975 in Salem, of son of John and Marjorie Cresanto, Sr. Prior to his retirement, he had been a member of the United State Army, where he served in the combat infantry, and later as a Blackhawk crew chief, and lastly as an Army recruiter
He was a member of the Lake Mount Church of Christ, Benjamin Firestone American Legion Post 290, and had at one time had a rodeo career, prior to joining the service.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Jennifer Anderson, whom he married Dec. 30, 2017; four brothers, John (Patti) Cresanto, Jr., Steven Michael (Roni) Cresanto, Joshua (Sherri) Cresanto, and Timothy Cresanto, and a sister, Jennifer (Eric) Shafer.
The funeral was June 27, 2018 at the Lake Mount Church of Christ, New Waterford. Burial: Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford, Ohio.
