Nicholas Beswick

Nick was deployed to Afghanistan in July of 2013 with the 946th Transportation Company of the US Army. His dates of Service were 8/25/13 – 11/15/13. Nick earned the Army Achievement Award for exceptionally meritorious service as a motor transport operator in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
When he was released early in November 2013, he surprised all of us by showing up unexpectedly! Nick was the type of person who lit up a room with his amazing smile, but also knew how to hide his pain. When he took his life on 9/21/14, we were all blindsided and devastated, left with so many unanswered questions. PTSD is real. It takes away real people who have real hopes and dreams. Nick was just 23 years old and is missed every day by his family, especially his parents, his sister, and his little brothers. Our mission is to keep his memory alive forever and never stop telling his story!
