Robert Alan Harper was born on 3/29/80 passed on 6/13/24 and is survived by many family and friends who love and miss him.
Robert grew up in Wyandotte and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He loved baseball and played from age 7 through his high school years. He was a Detroit Tigers fan.
Robert joined the military in April 2002. He served 14 years, deploying eight times and saw active combat duty five times, both in northern Iraq and Afghanistan. He was part of a Special Ops group in the Air Force. He was highly respected and loved by his comrades. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant, and was the lead gunner on the lead Humvee when they went out on night missions. Sadly, he passed one week before his father’s birthday.
Robert is survived by family and friends who love and miss him so much.
He is laid to rest in Michigan, the state he called home.
