Ryan Gene Hogan, 27, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away, Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was born on May 19, 1991 to Billy and Jeanette (Newberry) Hogan in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Ryan graduated from Muskogee High School with the class of 2009. He then attended Colorado Technical University and studied criminal justice with his focus on homeland security. Ryan was serving with Company A, 4th Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 1 BCT at Fort Bliss, Texas. He loved his country and was proud to be able to serve.
Ryan married the love of his life, Caitlin Jackson, on August 4, 2017 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
He enjoyed playing video games and loved spending as much time as possible with his family. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors – camping, fishing, and swimming. Ryan was a proud father and loved spending time with his boys. He had a goofy side and was a prankster! He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Your life was short but full and we’re all better to have known you. Thank you for the impact you have had on our lives and on our country and for the stamp you’ve left in our hearts.
