September 12, 1952 – February 3, 1986
Timothy Scott Denbow, 33, died February 3, 1986, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Lubec on September 12, 1952, the son of Maurice and Leona (Lyons) Denbow Sr. He was an Army veteran, stationed in Okinawa from 1972 – 1974. He was a member of the Lubec Grange. Surviving besides his mother and father of Lubec, are his wife, Marlene (Dennison) Denbow of Lubec; one son, Timothy; two daughters, Traci and Shannon, all of Lubec; two brothers, Maurice Jr. of Lubec and David of Cherryfield; two sister, Cecilia Simonson and Ramona Denbow, both of Lubec, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Timothy Denbow is the grandfather of SrA Taegre Denbow, USAF, one of our 22 Too Many heroes.
There are three generations of musical talent – Timothy was a self-taught musician, who could play any instrument. His grandson, Taegre was the same way. Shannon, Timothy’s daughter and Taegre’s mother, also has the beautiful gift of music. (editor’s note added regarding Shannon; I have heard her sing and play guitar).
Interment: Jones Cemetery, Trescott, Maine
