In Memory of SPC Tyler Edward Harkness US Army
June 8, 1998 – October 13, 2024
Tyler had the biggest heart, the sweetest smile, and the strongest desire to do good in the world. He loved his 2014 Ford Mustang (Ace), playing video games, sending his family the strangest YouTube videos and memes just for laughs, photography, attending countless festivals and concerts, cooking, shopping, collecting rocks (for his penguin, Maddie) and tending to his many fish and aquariums. He loved all animals, and had a passion for listening to music and building LEGO sets. He was always calling family and friends to talk about their day and always ended conversations with the words, “I love you.”
Tyler Edward Harkness is at peace and in God’s loving arms. He is survived by his mother, Kimberly Ramage (Faith Ramage), his father, John Edward Harkness, Jr. (Tabatha Harkness), his grandparents Frank Gassner and John, Sr. and Caroline Harkness, his brothers and sister (Chase, Owen, Jasmine), his Aunt Jennifer Gassner, his beloved Maddie Davis and many, many other family and friends who loved him dearly.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the following organizations in Tyler’s name: Stop Solder Suicide or Mission 22
