Ronald Lewis

Ronald William “Ron” Lewis grew up in Effingham County and graduated from E.C.H.S. in 1990. He served in the U.S. Marines, U.S. Army, and Army National Guard having served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Bass fishing, coaching football, baseball, and softball were his passions. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, PopPop, and friend. He would do anything for his family. He loved and was so proud of his country, and fought hard for it. PTSD is an awful thing, and he fought it so hard for so many years. We miss him more every day. Thank you for helping to honor his name!
He called Georgia home and is laid to rest at Glennville (Georgia) Veterans Memorial Cemetery
